Starting a business is challenging and risky, and it's common for entrepreneurs to face skepticism and a lack of understanding from people around them, especially from family and friends. People are naturally used to traditional career paths. Starting a business from scratch takes much work for them to comprehend.

So, don't be surprised when people ask why you aren't applying to jobs when things seem to be working out slowly or when they can't see how much effort it requires to get your business off the ground.

There are times when you have to make tough decisions that require prioritizing business over your personal life.

But despite these challenges, having confidence in yourself and your vision is essential. Starting a business is a personal journey, and it's okay if some do not understand or support such decisions. The good thing is that the rewards of entrepreneurship can be great if you are willing to take risks and put in the hard work.

It is also crucial to prioritize educating loved ones about business, risks, and rewards. Explaining your vision and the steps you take to make it a reality helps them better understand your motivations and the reasons behind your choices, which sometimes can be very difficult for them to understand. For instance, my daughter once told her teacher at school that daddy had traveled to Australia, and it was her and mum at home. She couldn't play hide and seek with me and didn't understand why dad had to take a quick trip.

I'm grateful for the support of my loved ones and the opportunities that entrepreneurship has given me to create something meaningful and continue to strive to provide for and support my family.
I want to inspire you to pursue your dreams passionately; no matter how difficult the journey may seem, stay grounded and focused.
